Mommy Moments 4 – Sporty Day

mommymoments

Where would my family be without sports?  Papa played basketball and taught me to play volleyball, chess, table tennis.   Mama has a mean arm in bowling.    Auntie dabbled in badminton and volleyball too.    I played a lot until college only.  I wasn’t able to keep up when I began working.

The sportiest of all still, was Daddy.  Basketball by default, volleyball, mountain climbing..  There.

We were blessed that without much prodding, our little one gamely joined in. :)

But Daddy was happiest when Butchoboy took up his favorite. As in, super support and always in attendance, during vacation.

It’s a great start to introduce him to sports especially if it runs with the family.

Role model pala ni Butchoboy mo ang daddy niya. I think your son really loves basketball.

My hubby is a good swimmer being a Red Crosser way back his HS days. Kaso lang wala sa mga anak namin ang marunong lumangoy sa ngayon.

Hi Mommy.. magagaya din yan. We just expose him to a lot and he chooses to join, when he wants. We don’t force. :) Thanks for visiting!

hahaha, typical mommy, palagi tayong protective of our kids, sometimes worried about nothing, may mga “sidelines crying” moments din ako, especially when they’re having their immunizations, hehehe. I admire your child for liking sports ha, you have a good start with influence with your son.

You start where little Toby wants… its easier.

What a sporty boy! My son is still into swimming and soccer or futsal to be exact as his school only has indoor field. It’s good that your son already knows what sport he likes.

The first picture is the best, he is so cute looking like a hunk guy in the pool. He is a good swimmer at his age.

hey! don’t forget that I was there too in ALL of these sports sessions/classes!!!

from the swimming class in Village East – I was the one who threw him into the pool, took him to eat after class and chased after cabs then so we could go home… to the football classes where he just stood there and did nothing… to the 2nd swimming sessions where he browned like a toasted bread, I cheered him on his pool length laps… to his basketball clinics in a school that wasn’t MY school… I was there to support him in attendance, time, budget, and driving abilities.

and most of all, I’M THE OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHER!!!!! thanks to me, he has more than a thousand photos already! (because if it were up to you, he’d only have about 100 in 6 years!) :p
